Your role: Shaping the future of global trade

We are on a mission to simplify global trade and lead the industry into a more sustainable future. Forto’s marketing team plays a pivotal role in shaping our brand's narrative, strengthening Forto’s position as the industry disruptor, and driving strategic growth initiatives. 

We are looking for an accomplished Head of Marketing to lead our team in executing marketing strategies that propel Forto to the forefront of digital freight forwarding. In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspire creativity, manage a talented team of marketers, and leverage your expertise to position Forto as a leader in the industry. You will:

  • Define, and execute a global marketing strategy to support Forto's business objectives. 
  • Inspire, lead, and develop a team of talented marketing professionals, fostering a creative and collaborative culture.
  • Manage all marketing channels, including Forto’s website, social media platforms, email marketing, and event marketing.
  • Drive the creation of compelling content, including customer success stories, platform use cases, and collateral for product releases.
  • Collaborate closely with product and commercial leadership to develop and iterate on marketing activities driving customer reach.
  • Define a marketing plan to establish Forto as a thought leader in the digital freight forwarding industry.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor news, and industry developments to support strategic business and product decisions. 
  • Design and execute campaigns for customer activation and retention across various channels, ensuring consistent messaging.
  • Set measurable goals and metrics for marketing performance, and ensure data-driven decision-making to inform future strategies and optimizations.
  • Develop state-of-the-art sales collateral and collaborate with sales enablement to equip sales teams with effective communication tools.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and contractors to maximize marketing effectiveness.
  • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve desired outcomes.

What you bring:

  • 8+ years of impactful experience in B2B marketing, 3 years in team management roles.
  • Proven track record of success in overseeing international marketing initiatives
  • Visionary leader with strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content.
  • Experience in collaborating with external contractors, agencies, and marketing partners.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality deliverables.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a hands-on approach to achieving results.
  • Highly structured yet adaptable work style focused on maximizing impact in a dynamic setting.
  • Written & Spoken fluency in English and German.
