Intermodal Manager Poland (f/m/d)

Your role
As Intermodal Manager (f/m/d) you will be responsible for projects to improve our pricing and actively maintain pricing and actively maintain relationships with our partner companies.
You will
- Monitor transportation progress and manage shipment schedules to ensure on-time deliveries
- Create structured offers and tenders on the basis of internal processes
- Collaborate with other company departments (e.g. operations, sales) to optimize the entire supply chain
- Support and maintain a close network of transport partners
- Negotiate contracts and long-term agreements with carriers and logistics service providers
- Understand and analyze intermodal processes and products, and identify and quantify potential for improvement
- Drive the implementation of new and improved products and processes
- Create and use statistics and cost analysis to make and enable data-driven decisions
- Ensure that the Intermodal team meets the company's goal of “Make shipping goods as easy as sending an email”
What you bring
- You have 2+ years of practical experience in the field of freight forwarding – especially in Intermodal transport in Europe.
- You have very good knowledge of the local Polish market and its specifics
- You bring an analytical understanding and know how to use data,
to gain insights and facilitate important decisions - You enjoy communicating and presenting complex information
