Key Account Manager (f/m/d) – Netherlands

Your Role 

In order to further develop our newly formed Forto Team in the Netherlands we are looking for a Key Account Manager (f/m/d) to support us. The international Key Account Management team is responsible for the strategic Forto customers globally and in charge to develop a long term customer relationship. The goal of a Key Account Manager is to be a consultant to our key customers by taking a holistic view, selling our existing product landscape and identifying innovative future solutions.

You will

  • work closely with our Enterprise/Corporate Accounts to strategically build and grow them.
  • Initially be responsible for building your Enterprise/Corporate customer portfolio by actively managing new customer acquisition through pre-qualified leads from our growth team. 
  • cultivate customer relationships, identify development/added values opportunities and thus actively contribute to our customers and Forto's success.
  • act as an advocate in order to deliver against the needs of our customers.
  • anticipate future customer needs and support therefore the improvement of our customer platform in close cooperation with our technical and logistics product development teams.
  • be commercially responsible for the business of your Enterprise/Corporate Accounts.

What you bring

  • You have several years of professional experience in the sale of logistics products (air/sea/rail/order management) as well as in the pro-active management of Key Accounts – ideally in the area of Retail, Electronics, FMCG customers
  • You have a strong service mentality and excellent communication skills
  • You are exceptionally reliable, highly motivated and aware of the strategic requirements of your tasks
  • Your excellent analytical and strategic skills allow you to quickly familiarize yourself with a dynamic and demanding environment.
  • You speak fluent Dutch and English
