Project Manager Global Seafreight (f/m/d)

Your role
In this role you will act as a partner to the VP Global Seafreight to help drive activities, projects and strategies for all related topics across the company to achieve our ambitions of growth, excellence and customer satisfaction.
You will
- Drive and oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution
- Lead and manage department overarching projects
- Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
- Support on the future Global Seafreight Strategy
- Develop project roadmaps for initiatives across multiple countries
- Develop and follow up an effective operating model for Seafreight (responsibilities, collaboration)
What you bring
- 5+ years experience with proven experience in project management, ideally in the intercontinental ocean/air business segment
- Experience with analysis approaches, a high level of organizational skills, and process thinking
- Strong skills in stakeholder management and the ability to emphasize with different people functioning as interface between various parties
- The ability to firm up theoretical concepts and present concrete solutions and ideas
- Collaboration skills and willingness to go beyond strategy in order to support execution with the ability to work independently and set priorities, manage them, and deliver on-time results
- Excellent communication in written and verbal form
- You are fluent in English and German
