(Senior) Manager Commercial Intelligence and Planning – Profitability Focus(f/m/d)

Your role

You will be responsible to ensure Forto has full visibility across its profitability, pricing and yield activities across all markets, products, funnel steps and relevant metrics in order to derive and drive core improvement strategies and initiatives.

You will

  • Detect, design and initiate actions for Forto´s profit management & pricing analytics and steer these across divisions and their sub-teams (beyond commercial function)
  • Build, implement, run and enhance commercial analytics and intelligence on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly cadence
  • Set up end-to-end pricing capabilities and develop them into actionable recommendations & plans to initiate change 
  • Develop and support on plan-forecast-steer-control cycles that connect between procurement, commercial, strategy, and FP&A, incl. the business goal proposal across leading and lagging metrics
  • Report directly to the Head of Commercial Intelligence and Planning
     

What you bring

  • 4-5 years of experience in an analytical role involving data extraction, analysis, statistical and spreadsheet modelling, and communication
  • Strong knowledge of Google Data Studios, SQL, Google Sheet modeling or similar data visualization tools
  • Analytical experience in commercial activities (specifically sales and pricing) 
  • Ideally, experience in our industry or hands on experience in a fast speed environment and a passion for international logistics 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills are needed
  • Fluent English language skills
