Senior Product Manager (f/m/d) – Customer Platform

We are hiring for the Senior Product Manager (f/m/d) to lead our Customer Platform team, a pivotal role aimed at revolutionizing the customer experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. You will be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive strategy that enhances how customers interact with Forto daily. Your mission will be to ensure unparalleled visibility into shipments, provide critical moments of truth for reassurance and risk deviation, streamline communications with our operations team, and facilitate seamless notifications and integrations with customer systems.

Please note that because of how closely this role works with our customers, German language fluency is required!

You will

  • Build a deep understanding of our product and the customer journey, sometimes including technical details
  • Develop a  deep knowledge of how our operations and sales teams work, their objectives, and Forto's overall strategy
  • Lead requirement gathering efforts, through customer research, data analysis and consulting stakeholders
  • Develop a product vision, roadmaps and epics. Determination of corner cases, always while considering user experience and the complexity of a solution
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, build, and launch innovative features that enhance customer interactions and satisfaction.
  • Measure impact of product work by implementing and tracking key metrics
  • Juggling of competing priorities on a daily basis, finding the right balance between short-term fixes and strategic tasks

What you bring

  • German language fluency is a must
  • 5+ years of product management experience working with engineers, product designers, customer researchers, and building software products 
  • Customer Advocate: You are obsessed in understanding the pains and the needs of the customers, and have high customer empathy
  • Fast Learner: You learn quickly and strive to improve every day; you can adapt to a fast-growing organization with constantly changing requirements
  • Passion Driver: You want to work on real-world problems that create an impact in our world; you work hard to build a great product and take ownership for delivering high-quality user experience
  • Tech Lover: You Understand complex digital products and don’t shy away from a technical conversation with engineers
  • Previous B2B product experience would be beneficial
