Your Role

Based in China Tianjin Office, provide frontline day-to-day support of end-users' IT equipment and cloud-based apps and tools used by Forto staff. You will also be responsible for  procurement activities of IT equipment and services in China.


You will

  1. Take ownership of the end to end IT Support for Jira Service Desk Tickets of our Asia offices.
  2. Work alongside our People team to handle the onboarding and offboarding process, including IT HW.
  3. Provide user training and document common issues to reduce the number of repetitive requests.
  4. Maintain physical IT Infrastructure, AV, Meeting rooms and Printers.
  5. Travel to our other offices, to provide onsite support and maintain equipment. Collaborate with Office Management, to maintain and upgrade our growing office spaces.
  6. Provide assistance on IT projects being rolled out internationally.
  7. Procurement activities for IT equipment and services in China.
  8. Regular payments for IT services and equipment.
  9. Contract management, vendor management, formulate and optimize the procurement process.
  10. Support IT equipment lifecycle tasks including repair, reallocation, inventory updates, buy-back and recycling.


What you bring

  1. You will bring a minimum of 2 years of full-time IT operation experience.
  2. IT Administration with cloud applications. G-Suite, Office 365, OneLogin, Zoom, Slack, MS Azure cloud, Meraki and Atlassian are a plus!
  3. Market knowledge (the overall situation, vendors, trends).
  4. Experience with MDM tools, like MS Intune.
  5. The ability to produce concise and professional IT documentation.
  6. Positive attitude and willingness to work in a global team with different cultures.
  7. Oral and written English is a must.
