About the role
As Senior Commercial Strategy Analyst (f/m/d) in Revenue Operations, you will transform complex commercial data into actionable insights for leadership across Sales, GTM, Funnel Optimization, and Customer Success, directly informing decisions.
This hands-on role involves extensive SQL work to model data from CRM, TMS, pricing, and finance systems, and build critical commercial dashboards for target setting, performance, pricing, profitability, and retention analysis. You will be a strategic thought partner to senior stakeholders, structuring ambiguous questions, challenging assumptions with data, and presenting clear recommendations that influence growth strategy and investment. Collaboration with Analytics, Sales, Product, and Finance is key to ensuring data quality and establishing a single source of truth for the Commercial team.
Key Responsibilities

Own and manage defined RevOps and commercial strategy topics, applying a solid understanding of commercial methods, systems and processes. Be accountable for outcomes across areas such as funnel performance, pricing effectiveness, customer lifecycle and retention

Serve as a trusted analytical partner to senior stakeholders including the SVP Commercial and selected CXOs. Communicate insights, implications and recommendations clearly and confidently, adapting messages to different audiences and decision contexts

Solve complex commercial problems through deep, hands-on analysis. Use advanced SQL to extract, validate and model data across CRM, TMS, pricing and finance systems, while continuously improving existing analytical approaches and processes

Design, own and maintain dashboards and analytical frameworks that directly support departmental goals such as target setting, GTM effectiveness, profit per TEU optimisation, customer acquisition and retention

Leverage strong knowledge of commercial systems and data flows to identify gaps, inconsistencies and inefficiencies. Improve and standardise analytical processes to enable scalable, reliable and repeatable decision-making

Independently lead cross-functional analytical projects. Coordinate stakeholders across Sales, Pricing, Product, Finance and the CEO’s office to ensure insights are translated into action and measurable impact
Required Skills and Experience

Significant experience in a senior analytical role within Revenue Operations (RevOps), Commercial Strategy, or a similar function.

Advanced, hands-on expertise in SQL, capable of independently managing and analyzing complex datasets.

Strong experience in building and maintaining analytical dashboards, specifically using Looker Studio.

Advanced Excel proficiency for analysis, modeling, and conducting in-depth, ad-hoc deep dives, complemented by strong presentation abilities.

Solid understanding of commercial methodologies, systems, and processes, including sales funnels, pricing strategies, and customer lifecycle analytics.

Proven ability to independently own complex topics or projects and consistently deliver required outcomes.

Strong experience in clearly communicating data-driven insights and recommendations to senior-level stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to improve and scale existing analytical processes for efficiency and impact.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills and Experience

Proficient in creating reports and dashboards within Salesforce.

Experience in dynamic environments such as scale-ups, SaaS, logistics, or marketplace businesses.

Involved in commercial performance management, including target setting and incentive design.

Familiarity with popular project management platforms (e.g., Asana, JIRA, or equivalents).
