About the role
As a Senior Sales Manager (f/m/d) in field sales with a focus on sea freight export, you will be responsible for building and expanding our customer portfolio. You will work with experts from our Growth Team who will provide you with pre-qualified leads, as well as experts from your team with whom you can discuss specific customer requirements or ideas for customer acquisition.
This role offers you the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Germany or at our offices in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg or Bremen.
Key Responsibilities

Be responsible for the acquisition of new customers and the expansion of Forto’s customer portfolio in the large-market sector

Distribute our product by paying special attention to the needs of our customers

Work closely with our customers, maintain our customer relationships and thus actively contribute to their and our success

Anticipate future customer needs and improve our customer platform in close collaboration with our product development team
Required Skills and Experience:

Several years of professional experience in sales

Enjoy acquisition and communication with partners from various industries

Excellent sales skills and the ability to build and maintain a diverse network of customers

Reliability, independence, high motivation and the ability to work in a dynamic and demanding team

Fluency in German and English
Preferred Skills and Experience:

Knowledge of logistics products with a focus on sea freight export

Experience in field sales

Completed apprenticeship and/or degree in business or logistics is a plus
