Senior Product Marketing Manager (f/m/d)

Your role

Shaping the future of global trade. 

We are looking for an experienced product marketer to support delivering on our ambitious marketing and business goals, with a focus on DACH markets. In this role, you will drive go-to-market strategies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution for product launches and high adoption of new services and capabilities. In this role, you will partner with sales enablement, work closely with product management to craft product messaging and positioning, and develop marketing campaigns and collateral.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in product marketing at a B2B company.

Please note that because of our target markets, this role requires fluency in English and German (native speaker or equivalent proficiency).

You will

  • Own the development of product messaging and positioning that resonate with target audiences and align with Forto’s narrative.
  • Create and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing services and products, including early-adopter programs, launch plans and marketing campaigns.
  • Be an expert on our target customer segments, identifying what they need and how Forto can best cater to their needs.
  • Collaborate with sales enablement in creating materials to ensure the successful adoption of new services and platform features by our customers.
  • Lead the development of product marketing content, including customer success stories and white papers, pitch decks and sales guides, product videos and demos.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and customer needs, enabling us to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Define, monitor and report on product marketing metrics, including product launch and product usage metrics, usage of product marketing assets, and more.
  • Gather, analyze and report on internal and external qualitative feedback in collaboration with the customer research and insights team.

What you bring 

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing within a B2B context, with a proven track record of successfully launching products and campaigns.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into compelling yet simple messaging and actionable plans.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear benefits for our target audiences.
  • Previous involvement in customer research and proficiency in utilizing data-driven insights to shape product and go-to-market strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate, influence, and motivate others, coupled with the resilience to navigate challenging business scenarios.
  • Demonstrated skill in leading cross-functional teams towards common objectives, involving product, sales, and marketing departments.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive attitude, with a commitment to staying updated with industry trends and best practices in product marketing.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, delivering iterativelyFluency in English and German (native speaker or equivalent proficiency).
